Today is the day for transformation in the Isaak home. Snow flakes of all shapes and sizes are crafted by our many hands, and have turned our living room into a winter wonderland.
Life happens in the midst of fun times, and even our plumber had a great time viewing the kids mastery. He sat down to teach the kids how to create a spiraling paper Christmas tree. The kids enjoyed this new experiment.
Evening quickly approaches and all the family has come together to decorate. We have a nativity room and a snow room. There is a tree for each room. The kids named our ratty old tree Gimpy. It is one of those old fashioned kind where you poke the branches into the stick trunk. He is dearly beloved by all our family, and each branch holds a precious ornament that symbolizes a memory.
Our day closes with hot coco, candy canes, laughter, sentiment, and one of our favorite movies of an elf in New York city.
Love it!!!! That will be our house tomorrow, I hope :)
