Heart Warming Presence

There is a gift that reaches deep down within our souls. It is priceless and leaves us longing for more. The gift is that of being desired, never a bother, but warmly, enthusiastically being welcomed in and embraced.

As I ponder and think tenderly and lovingly about those that I have enjoyed such sweet encounters with, it fills my heart with sentimental joy.

I invite you to peer in and see these beautiful gems. Their eyes twinkle, their laughter is musical, and the warmth of their embrace physically as well as emotionally builds strength into your soul.

Some of us have had grandparents that resembled this description and others have received these elderly friends as gifts from above.

Christmas is heavenly when we secure time to visit our aged friends. They were once the one's who went a calling. Letting them know that they are what brightens up our year also enables them to know they are not forgotten but longed for. Enjoying their presence is one of our families greatest Christmas presents.
